Two years ago, for the first time, we were forced into isolation from the ones we love — and this was repeated again in a few months, during the second wave of the pandemic in India. Referencing this oscillation between the isolation and coming together that we have all been living through, the embroidered opaque panels of linen represent separation and distance, while the printed organza that floats before them — allowing for some visibility and intimacy – represents our eventual coming together.
